This Privacy Notice (“Notice”) describes how the Genesco Inc., d/b/a Journeys, Journeys Kidz, Underground by Journeys, and Shi by Journeys (each brand, “Journeys,” and collectively, “Genesco,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses and otherwise processes personal information related to visitors to our websites that link to this Notice, such as www.journeys.com, (the “Site”) and offline means, such as in-store locations (together, the “Services”).
As used in this Notice, “personal information” or “personal data” is information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer or household.
We provide additional information and choices for residents of certain U.S. states. - Directly from You, including when you purchase products from us, sign up for email or text communications, sign up for an All Access account, provide us information about your children to receive birthday and other promotional offers, enter Promotions (as defined in the “Sweepstakes, Contests, and Promotions” section below), contact customer service or provide Site feedback, participate in surveys, make a product review, interact with us on social media, or otherwise interact with us;

- Geolocation Data, including approximate location, which may be based on your ZIP Code, IP address, or device information.
- Audio, Electronic, Visual, or Similar Information, including photos, audio recordings of customer service calls, and CCTV footage from our in-person locations.

The purposes for which we may process personal information will vary depending on how we interact with you. However, we generally use and otherwise process personal information for the following purposes:- Providing our Services, including to provide and maintain our Services; provide you with products and services you request; authenticate users; perform technical operations, such as updating our Site; respond to your requests; administer Promotions (defined below); and fulfill other customer service and support purposes.

3. DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
We may disclose personal information for the purposes described above to the following parties:- Affiliated entities to operate our business.
- Business partners, including to help provide you with our products and services as well as our Promotions.
- Vendors, service provider, suppliers, contractors, or agents who process personal information to provide services to us or to perform functions on our behalf, including helping us fulfill orders, processing transactions, hosting our websites, analyzing our Site and services, sending communications, and otherwise supporting our business.

4. COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGY
We and our vendors use cookies, web beacons, pixels, tags and other similar technologies (collectively, “Cookies”) to collect information when you interact with our Site. These Cookies may collect information about your usage and activities (such as your IP address and device identifier, the browser you are using, length and time of visit and pages visited), geolocation data (to deliver content based on your location and help you find a location near you) and details about how you interact with our Sites (including clicks, cursor movement, scrolls and keystroke activity).If you receive email communications from us, we may use certain Cookies to capture data related to if/when you open our message and if/when you click on any links or banners it contains. Other information collected through this email tracking feature includes: your email address, the date and time of your “click” on the email, a message number, the name of the list from which the message was sent, a tracking URL number, and a destination page.
Some third parties may use automated data collection technologies to collect information about you when you when you browse the internet. We do not control these third parties’ technologies or how they may be used. Choices About Cookies: We may provide you with choices regarding the personal information you provide to us, and we have created ways to give you control over your information. Most web browsers are set by default to accept Cookies. We may offer sweepstakes, contests, special events, incentives, and other promotional events and activities (“Promotions”), including Promotions that are jointly sponsored or offered by other parties. If you choose to participate in a Promotion, we may collect personal information as part of the Promotion. If there is a conflict between the Promotion terms and this Notice, the Promotion terms will govern with regard to the personal information collected related to the Promotion. When we offer Promotions, or join with other companies to do so, visitors who choose to participate in these Promotions may be asked to provide personal information to participate. That information may then be used by us and any company offering the Promotion, including to create marketing materials, market to you, notify winners, to fulfill promotional obligations, and for our related business purposes. We may use third parties to perform services such as mailing catalogs and other marketing and promotional materials on our behalf. We will supply customer information to those third parties to the extent necessary to enable them to perform the services we have engaged them to provide. - You may opt out of marketing emails or manage your subscription preferences for emails from us at any time by using the unsubscribe mechanism within any marketing email we send to you. You may also update your email marketing communications preferences within your All Access account profile. Please note that even if you opt out, we may still send you non-commercial emails, such as receipts and responses to direct requests.
- You may opt out of text messages from us at any time by replying STOP to any of our texts. You may also update your text message marketing communications preferences within your account profile. We do not share text message opt-in information and consent with any third parties for those third parties’ own marketing purposes.
8. INTEGRATED SOLUTIONS AND SOCIAL FEATURES
We use service providers to provide certain interactive features on our Site. Your use of these interactive features is voluntary, and we may retain the information that you submit through these features. For example, we may offer an interactive chat feature on the Site to assist you with your order and for other customer service purposes. When you participate in the interactive chat, either with a virtual agent that uses artificial intelligence or live agent, the contents of the chat may be captured and kept as a transcript. By using these features, you understand that our vendors may process the information obtained through the feature to provide the service on our behalf.
Certain functionalities on our Services permit interactions that you initiate between our Services and certain other services, such as social networks (“Social Features”). Examples of Social Features include: (a) enabling you to send content such as contacts and photos between the Service and another’s service; (b) “liking” or “sharing” our content; and (c) otherwise connecting our Services to another service (e.g., to pull or push information to or from our Services). If you use Social Features, information you post or provide access to may be publicly displayed by the social media service that you use. Similarly, if you post information on a social media service that references the Services (e.g., by using a hashtag associated with us, your post may be used on or in connection with the Services or otherwise by us. Both Genesco and the social media service may have access to certain information about you and your use of the Services and any social media service.
9. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS
This section provides additional information for residents of California. The California Consumer Privacy Act as amended (“CCPA”) requires us to make additional disclosures. If you are a California resident, please read this section for additional disclosures and information on rights you may have under California law. In the event of a conflict between this California section and any other section of this Notice, this section shall take precedence for California residents. Terms used in this section and not defined have the meaning given in the CCPA.
Sources of Personal Information: We collect personal information from the sources described in the “Collection of Personal Information” section above.

Disclosures of personal information: As further described in the “Disclosure of Personal Information” section above, we disclose personal information to other parties for the purposes described in the chart above. In accordance with these purposes, we may disclose personal information to the following categories of parties:

- Service providers (e.g. accountants, attorneys, advisors, mailing, marketing, shipping fulfillment, payment processing, Site administration, technical support, modeling, analytics);
- Marketing, advertising, and analytics providers;
- Data enrichment vendors who assist with our marketing efforts; and
- Other companies that we work with to offer our Services.
We will also disclose personal information when you direct us to do so, or where otherwise necessary to respond to or fulfill your requests or orders.
Personal Information Sold or Shared: We do not transfer your personal information in exchange for money, but some of our disclosures to certain third-party partners may be considered “selling” or “sharing” personal information under the CCPA. - Right to opt out of Sale or Sharing of Personal Information You have the right to opt out of selling and sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising using your personal information. You may opt out of sales or sharing via Cookies through an opt-out preference signal (such as the Global Privacy Control) or through our “Cookie Preferences” link in the footer of our Site. Note that if you come back to our Site from a different device or use a different browser on the same device, you will need to opt out for that browser and device as well. To opt out of non-Cookie-based sales and targeted advertising using your personal data, please follow the instructions in the “Exercising Your California Privacy Rights” below.
- Right to Know You have the right to know and receive a copy of (subject to certain exemptions) the specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you. You may also request:
- The categories of personal information we have collected about you;
- The categories of sources from which the personal information is collected;
- The business or commercial purpose for collecting, selling, or sharing your personal information;
- The categories personal information we have sold or shared about you and for each category of personal information, the category of third parties with whom we have sold or shared your personal information; and

- Right to Delete You have the right to request that we delete the personal information we have collected from you. There are a number of exceptions that may apply.
- Right to Correct You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate personal information. We may require documentation to support your request. Upon receiving a verifiable request to correct inaccurate personal information, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to update the personal information.
- Right to Limit Use and Disclosure of Your Sensitive Personal Information In some cases, you may have the right to limit use and disclosure of your sensitive personal information. You may limit the use and disclosure of your sensitive personal information by opting out of sales or sharing via Cookies through an opt-out preference signal (such as the Global Privacy Control) or through our “Cookie Preferences” link in the footer of our Site.

B. California Shine the Light Law
California Civil Code Section 1798.83 (California’s “Shine the Light” Law), allows our California customers to request certain information regarding our disclosures, if any, of personally identifiable information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. We do not engage in the types of disclosures covered by Shine the Light.
C. "Do Not Track"
Do Not Track (DNT) is a privacy preference you can set in certain browsers. Our Site is not currently configured to recognize DNT signals. D. Notice of Financial Incentive
This Notice of Financial Incentive applies to the Journeys All Access rewards program (“All Access”). For financial incentive disclosures specific to any other Promotion, please see that Promotion's terms. We reserve the right to terminate All Access or any other offers at any time in our sole discretion.

10. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR RESIDENTS OF CERTAIN U.S. STATES
This section applies to residents of Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia (the “Covered States”). This section describes our collection, use and disclosure of “personal data,” (as defined under applicable law, to the extent the law applies to you). References to personal information in the rest of this Privacy Notice also describe our practices regarding personal data in this section.
In the event of a conflict between this section and any other section of this Notice, this section shall take precedence for residents of Covered States. Terms used in this section and not defined have the meaning given in the law of the respective Covered State.
Personal Data Collection, Use, and Disclosure: We collect, use, and disclose the personal data of Covered State residents as described in the “Collection of Personal Information,” “Use of Personal Information” and “Disclosure of Personal Information” sections above. Some of the personal data we collect may be considered sensitive under the laws of a Covered State, such as personal data you provide to us about your children. We do not collect, use, or sell personal data for the purpose of training large language models.
Sales and Targeted Advertising: We do not transfer your personal data in exchange for money, but some of our disclosures to certain third-party partners may be considered “selling” or sharing for targeted advertising. Privacy Rights for Residents of Covered States: Residents of Covered States may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws, subject to certain limitations and exceptions. These rights include:

- Right to Correct. You may request that we correct inaccuracies in your personal data, taking into account the nature of the personal data and our purposes for processing it.
- Right to Delete. You may request that we delete your personal data. Please note that we may retain certain personal data as permitted by applicable law.
